Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka met President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu yesterday afternoon to discuss the Commission of Inquiry report into the appointment of Barbara Malimali as FICAC commissioner.
He told the media at an earlier event that he had read the report and the findings proved what he thought was happening.
“It only proved to me what I had thought was happening, but that will be brought out in the full report and the recommendations of the COI,” he said.
“They (COI report) have recommended what should follow and that is what Government should pick up.”
He said after the meeting with the President, “there will probably be a statement out from the Government House or from me”.
