The Fiji Police Force (FPF) has identified seven specific allegations in the Commission of Inquiry (COI) report that it will be investigating.
In an update, FPF adds out of these seven allegations, it has been established that four cases had already been the subject of investigations by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
“They were reported to the FPF prior to the release of the COI report,” said Fiji Police.
“The dedicated investigation team remains focused in prioritising the identified seven (7) specific allegations, forming the basis of the investigation.”
“The Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu is once again reiterating the independence of the investigation process handled by senior investigators and urges members of the public to trust the process.”
