Police investigations have begun into the death of a four-year-old girl who allegedly died from injuries sustained when a school gate fell on top of her on Friday evening.
Police spokesperson Wame Bautolu said the child was found lying motionless underneath the gate of a prominent Lautoka school.
He said she was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead by the doctor. Investigations continues.
Questions sent to Education Minister Aseri Radrodro about the incident remain unanswered.
