POLICE have announced the resignation of Assistant Commissioner of Police Abdul Khan.

Police Commissioner Brigadier-General Sitiveni Qiliho said ACP Khan cited personal reasons and he had accepted Mr Khan’s resignation.

“I have accepted his resignation after the decision was reached on mutual understanding and I respect his decision to resign from the organisation,” Brig-Gen Qiliho said.

“I wish him well on his future endeavours and thank him for his service.”

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Livai Driu the commanding officer (CO) Police Special Response Unit (PSRU) took up the post of Chief Operations Officer and was promoted to Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) yesterday.
