A man in his 50s is alleged to be the country’s latest road fatality, Fiji Police Force.
He is alleged to be a victim of a hit and run accident along the Queens Highway, near Nabou.
The alleged incident occurred after 11pm on the night of the 25th of June.
The victim was driving his vehicle when the car driven by the suspect traveling from the opposite side veered on to their lane resulting in the accident.
The driver fled the scene and the search continues for his whereabouts. Two victims remain admitted in hospital.
Investigations continue.
