Police are calling for public assistance to help identify a man who was allegedly assaulted outside a Suva nightclub early yesterday morning.
The victim — an iTaukei male believed to be in his early 30s — was found without any form of identification and is now admitted at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators have released photos of the man’s tattoos in the hope that someone will recognise him and come forward with information.
Members of the public are urged to contact 9908055 if they can assist with identifying the victim or provide details that may help the investigation.
Police confirm that a police officer and a 22-year-old man remain in custody over the alleged assault. Circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated.
