Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has not had any discussion with Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection Lynda Tabuya on her position in Cabinet.

Speaking to this newspaper yesterday afternoon, Mr Rabuka clarified Ms Tabuya’s position still remained, however, they have yet to discuss the next step.

“As we speak, I have not spoken to the Honourable Lynda Tabuya about her position in Cabinet,” said Mr Rabuka.

“That conversation has not happened yet.”

On Tuesday Mr Rabuka said he would deal with Ms Tabuya if it ‘came within Government’.

The Women’s Minister was removed as The People’s Alliance deputy leader last week following an inquiry into allegations against her personal conduct during an overseas trip last year.
