PM: I bear the blame!

Listen to this article:

PRIME Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has shouldered the blame for every military-led upheaval since the 1987 coups.

While seeking forgiveness from the families of soldiers who died in an attempted mutiny of the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in 2000, Mr Rabuka said all of this happened because of his actions 37 years ago.

“All of these things began on May 14, 1987,” he said.

“And I should bear the blame.”
