MYdesk Fiji has recently launched its Mydesk Launchpad Community, a new initiative that will provide entrepreneurs, freelancers, leaders, startups and growing businesses with a structured platform to connect, collaborate and build capability within a supportive professional environment.
Held at the Mydesk Fiji coworking space in Nadi Backroad, the launch brought together some of Fiji’s most driven business minds for an evening of connection, celebration and the unveiling of what is set to become the country’s premier professional growth ecosystem.
In a statement, Mydesk Fiji said the initiative aims to foster a culture of collaboration over competition by creating regular opportunities for members to engage through networking events, mixers, curated talks and an active online community group.
“Members will also have access to a business directory and partner perks designed to support business visibility and sustainability,” the company stated.
The initiative, it added, recognises that many entrepreneurs and small business owners in Fiji often operate in isolation.
“By bringing individuals from different industries into one shared space, Launchpad seeks to encourage cross-sector collaboration and strengthen the broader business ecosystem.”
Mydesk Fiji said members will also benefit from business directory listings, promotional support through Mydesk’s media and social partners, and access to partner discounts.
“The Launchpad Community is guided by five core values: collaboration over competition, connection through community, growth through shared knowledge and innovation, empowerment, and sustainability. These principles underpin the design of its programmes and membership structure.”
Launchpad offers two membership tiers tailored to different stages of business development.
‘Connect’, an entry level tier, provides foundational access to monthly networking events and the online community and ‘Lead’, a premium tier that is designed for executives and established leaders, offering exclusive executive roundtables, speaking opportunities, and high-level strategic networking.
Community lead Prerna Priyanka said they are committed to building Fiji’s future of work with the Launchpad Community.
“Fiji has always had the talent, and what we are building now is the infrastructure around that talent, the community, the knowledge and the connections that turn potential into real, lasting impact,” she said.
The launch of the Launchpad Community marked a strategic step by the Nadi-based co-working space provider to the strengthening of Fiji’s entrepreneurial infrastructure and future of work.
