Pasifika Communications, Fiji’s leading full-service creative agency celebrated its 30th anniversary last night at a function at Paradiso Restaurant in Suva.
The celebration included a reflection of Pasifika’s unique journey, highlighting the dedication and hard work of its talented staff, the loyalty and collaboration of its clients and the support of the communities it serves.
Since its founding in August 1994, Pasifika which provides communication and marketing solutions for commercial clients, non-commercial organisations and governments across the Pacific region has grown into the Pacific’s largest and most successful creative agency.
Over the past three decades, Pasifika Communications has provided a wide range of services, including design, advertising, media management, video production, market research and digital marketing for Fiji and other Pacific island countries.
Pasifika has built a reputation for delivering high-quality work that reflects its core values and the unique cultures and voices of the Pacific.
Dale Hermanson, founder and Managing Director of Pasifika Communications said they’re incredibly proud to have reached this milestone.
“Our commitment to excellence and creativity has been our driving force for 30 years. I think the extensive experience we have throughout the Pacific island countries makes us the best choice to communicate or advertise in the Pacific,” Mr Hermanson said.
Throughout its history, Pasifika Communications has been recognised for its contributions to the advertising and marketing industry.

- ● Women’s Leadership: In 2017, Natalia Evans became one of the first female General Managers of a Fiji advertising company, and Sashi Chand became its Business Development Manager. They also became company directors. All three of Pasifika’s department managers are also women

- ● Digital Evolution: Pasifika launched its Digital Department in 2017, which enabled the company to offer a wide range of digital marketing services to its clients.
“At times, it was a difficult journey for Pasifika,” Mr Hermanson said.
“We had to weather the 2000 coup, the 2006 coup, the global financial crisis and then COVID, but we’re still here. And I think we’re stronger than ever,” he said.
Despite its past successes, the company continues to focus on the future.
Ms Chand said, “Even though we’ve been in business for three decades now, we are planning to expand our services and embrace the latest technologies.”
Ms Evans said, “Our vision for the future is to continue to push boundaries and explore new ways to provide solutions for our clients.”
