Renowned jewellery brand Pandora officially launched its Mother’s Day collection in the country at its exclusive retailer Prouds Suva yesterday.

The new collection presents a selection of designs that honour the deep connection shared between anyone who resembles a mother and the recipient of their love.

In an interview with this newspaper, Prouds general manager Reshmi Singh said there were more than 2000 affordable Pandora branded pieces available at their stores, all of which could be personalised to meet customer satisfaction.

“I would say that it’s more than 2000 pieces by SKU (stock keeping unit) available, by quantity wise we have got a lot plus the fast-selling items which we have are below $99,” Ms Singh said.

She said the new collection carried a 20 per cent discount with most of the jewellery already retailing at affordable prices.

“Once again, our price range starts from $49 and most of our charm jewelleries are below $99. So, in that people find it affordable for everyone to purchase.

“The whole plan is to try and showcase this item in a way where it is affordable and for everyone, even children, who want to buy something for their mom using their pocket money.

“So, for this Mother’s Day, I invite people to come over to Prouds and check out our new affordable releases and make your mom’s Mother’s Day a colourful and memorable one,” she said.

In statement, Pandora’s creative directors Alessandro Filipo Ficarelli and Francesco Terzo said the new collection featured a symbol and an abstracted representation of a hug, an embrace and a feeling of being safe.
“The launch of the new collection is also part of Pandora’s Mother’s Day campaign ‘Be Love’. A slogan that celebrates the mother-like power to move the world with one look and one hug. The campaign showcases people that openly share the love of family and compassion toward their mom,” Mr Ficarelli and Mr Terzo said.

Pandora is a global jewellery brand that started as a family-run jewelry shop in Copenhagen, and is well known for its customisable charm bracelets, designer rings, earrings, necklaces and watches.
