Fiji Rugby Union

The Fiji Warriors and Fiji under-20 players are to note that the players who perform well at the fitness test will be selected for the trials. Below are the schedules for players who want a spot in the Warriors and the U20 team.

Tavua 7s

Western Coast 7s

THE Western Coast 7s tournament will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi from January 23. Entry fee: $250 (closes on January 19). Prizemoney: $2000 (cup winner), $1000 (cup runner-up), $500 (plate winner), $400 (bowl winner). Prizes will also be given to semi-finalists and best player. Contact: Weku Ratu 7841628, 9248653.

Island Breeze rugby clinic

The 2016 Island Breeze Rugby Plus Clinic along with Ovalau Rugby Union Francise will hold a rugby clinic and sports chaplaincy Course at Levuka on January 13. The Level 1 Sports Chaplaincy course will be facilitated by Sports Chaplaincy Australia and Hong Kong lectures while former Fiji coaches Ili Tabua, Eddie Waqa and Osea Umuumulovo will run the clinic in Ovalau and Moturiki where there is a lot of energy focused process to grassroots and pathway developments for our program in Fiji and Australia. SPM Citizen 7s Rugby Tournament

Major sponsor South Pacific Medicare in association with Radio Fiji 1, Narere Buses Ltd, Island Buses Ltd will be holding a 7s tournament on 23/01/16. Venue: Suva Grammar School grounds. Registration fee:$250. Entry closes on Thursday 21/01/16. Main prize $3000, runner-up $1000, Plate winner $700, Plate runner-up $500, Bowl winner $400, Bowl runner-up $250.
