No rest for champs, Labasa up next

There will be no rest for Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice Cream Battle of the Giants champions Lautoka as they prepare to face Labasa in the Digicel Fiji Premier League this Sunday.

The Blues host Labasa at Lawaqa Park at 1pm.

Labasa is second on the standings with 27 points while Lautoka is third on 19.

Table leaders Rewa will be up against Nasinu at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park at 3pm on Sunday.

In other matches on the same day, Nadroga hosts Nadi at 3pm at Lawaqa Park while there will be a double header at the Uprising Sports Complex.

Suva takes on Tailevu Naitasiri at 1pm while Navua battles Ba at 3pm.

Rewa leads the standings with 27 points, having a superior goal difference (+15) compared to Labasa (+8).

Ba is in fourth place with 18 pints followed by Nadi also on 18.

Navua is in sixth place with 17 points while Nadroga has 14.

Nasinu(12), Suva(9) and Nasinu(8) make up the bottom three of the standings.
