LUXURY spa therapist Sonia Prasad will head a new global spa operation designed exclusively for Sofitel Hotels.
The former graduate of the South Pacific Academy of Beauty Therapy has worked in many of the country’s top hotels and said this new concept at Sofitel Luxury Hotel on Denarau would feature elements of the global So SPA menu offering.
“This will be done alongside the famous Pure Fiji branded products and local Fijian inspired treatments and rituals,” she said.
“The global So SPA menu has been designed to help guests relax, restore and rejuvenate. The concept combines ancient wellness traditions from around the world with the refinement and skills of modern French cosmetology.”
Ms Prasad said she looked forward to infusing and extending the menu to embrace local fragrances and ingredients.
“Our guests will have the option to choose from a European or more organic local experience while visiting Sofitel.
“A sanctuary for guests with water views, Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa’s So SPA precinct boasts nine exclusive beachside bure, including specially created couples rooms, beautiful bure with outdoor garden showers, plus a private sauna, whirlpool and juice bar retreat.
“The resort also features the world’s first ever Pure Fiji concept store onsite and will use this product to inspire its own Fijian range of complementary So SPA treatments.”
The concept is also available in Sofitel hotels in London, England, Marseille Vieux Port, France and Auckland, New Zealand.
