Home Affairs Minister Pio Tikoduadua has reiterated the importance of community partnership with police to create a safer society for all.
In opening the new Police Community Post at Naduri Village in Macuata, which was fully funded by President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, Mr Tikoduadua said such great contribution reflected an outstanding commitment from the vanua of Caumatalevu.
“It is an honour that at the helm of our national leadership, by his own personal intervention, has brought to fruition the idea to have the presence of police in the district of Macuata,” he said.
“His vision shows a measure of care and concern that any chief would have for his people.”
