THE Fiji National University’s (FNU) Pasifika Campus in Suva opened its new state-of-the-art Tuisuva Dental Teaching Clinic this morning.
FNU vice chancellor Professor Nigel Healey said the new dental clinic was the biggest dental teaching clinic in the Pacific region.
“It is very fitting that we have chosen to name it the ‘Tuisuva Dental Teaching Clinic’,” Professor Healey said.
He said the new dental clinic was one of the two major capital projects undertaken at the School of Dentistry and Oral Health, College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences that was to expand teaching facilities and resources for dental students, as well as providing advanced technological support for dental diagnosis and treatment.
