Update: 3:02PM FOR 2015, the total revenue is forecast at $3,122.4 million while total expenditure is budgeted at $3,336.3 million.
According
to the Supplement to the 2015 Budget Address, this is expected to result in a
net fiscal deficit of $213.9 million, equivalent to 2.5 per cent of GDP.
“The 2015
Budget builds on the policy direction of Government in sustaining the current
economic expansion within a prudent macro-fiscal environment,” said Finance
permanent secretary Filimone Waqabaca.
“In this
spirit, the theme of the 2015 Budget is Turning Promises Into Deeds.”
