BEATRICE Nast has been a partner in business for the past 13 years and says every day is a challenge and a learning curve for her.
Ms Nast is one of the directors of Westside Motorbike Rentals and has been nominated for the 2016 Women in Business (WIB) Awards Business Woman of the Year.
“I feel honoured to be nominated for this award and my humble thanks goes out especially to the women in the West who entered the nominations,” Ms Nast said.
The WIB Awards has been a source of inspiration and motivation for women in business and it aims to recognise the achievements of women who have succeeded in their work and aspiring women entrepreneurs.
“Personally, I am still getting into terms with being nominated but I believe the WIB Awards are created to show how many talented women Fiji has to offer and the nominations are growing every year which is a positive sign.”
Ms Nast said this was the second time she had been nominated but in a different category.
Her advice to women out there who do not have yet the courage and dedication to start their business is: “Be patient, never give up and follow in what you believe is the right thing to do.”
