RISING star Inoke Nalaga will soon become the third member of his family to don the Flying Fijians shirt.

Inoke departed with the Fiji under-18 team to play three games in New Zealand yesterday.

His dad Kavekini Nalaga and elder brother Napolioni Nalaga played wing for the country.

The Cuvu College flyer was one of the standout performers in this year’s Powerade Super Deans competition and helped his school to create history by reaching the final for the first time.

Inoke who plays equally well at any backline position will be one of the players to watch during the New Zealand tour.

His early playing days started in France after joining Napolioni in France during his primary school education before returning to Fiji.

He joined Natabua High School from France then later switched to Cuvu College helping the side to do well this season.

The 26-member Fiji U18 side will play Wellington Samoans in a warm-up match before battling against New Zealand Barbarians.

The side will end its tour with a game against the NZ Maori side.
