THE McDonald’s Fijian Drua Women have made several key changes to their lineup ahead of their first home match of the 2026 Super Rugby Women’s season against the Western Force at Churchill Park in Lautoka on Saturday.

Head coach Mike Legge has handed exciting outside centre Vika Nakacia her official Drua debut, with the former Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s representative earning a place in the starting side.

Originally from Matacawalevu in Yasawa with maternal links to Navotua, Nakacia brings speed and experience to the backline. The former Ba Provincial Free Bird Institute student has also represented the Yasawa Women’s Rugby team and will be eager to make an impact in front of home fans.

Legge has also reshuffled his forward pack following last week’s outing. Powerful forward Mereoni Nakesa shifts to the No.8 jersey, while Tropik Wood Top Tackler Alfreda Fisher moves to openside flanker. Kolora Lomani has been named at halfback.
