THE McDonald’s Fiji Fijian Drua Women utility back Josivini Naihamu emerged as the biggest winner of the night, claiming both the Encore Players’ Player of the Year and the prestigious McDonald’s Fiji Player of the Year awards during the annual awards at the Sofitel Resort and Spa last night.
Voted by her teammates for the Players’ Player accolade, Naihamu was also selected by head coach Mike Legge as the club’s outstanding performer of the season.
Naihamu enjoyed a superb campaign this season, scoring five tries in six appearances while consistently leading by example through her work ethic, commitment and influence within the squad.
