Nadroga tour

THE Nadroga rugby team will be leaving for New Zealand tomorrow for its two-week pre-season tour before the Skipper competitions kick-starts next month.

Nadroga Rugby Union president Tiko Matawalu said the team would be travelling without players who are part of the Telecom Fiji Warriors.

“The boys who are in the Fiji Warriors squad will miss out on this tour so it gives chances to our development players to prove that they are capable of taking part in the Skipper and HFC Bank Farebrother challenge competitions.

“This pre-season tour is where they will prove their capabilities and book a spot in the Nadroga squad for this coming season,” he said.

Players who will represent Nadroga abroad are; Setefano Somoca, Alivereti Bure, Peceli Ratuibau, Naelesoni Navuase, Ratu Naisa Navuma, Apete Salawaqavuka, Sanaila Nahuto, Manoa Tamaya, Joseva Mahalo, Tevita Ratuva, Netani Tabua, Simeli Naivaludua, Atu Kulavere, Sione Navori, Tomasi Tovilea, Tabu Yalayala, Necani Uluivuda, Simione Drotini, Waisale Dokonivalu, Aseri Vatuinaruku, Josese Kurokavu, Peceli Nacebe, Kilioni Sisiwa, Aisea Natoga, Sakiusa Nakalevu, Akariva Nabati, Tuiba Batiratu, Inoke Kadralevu and Aporosa Tabulawaki.
