A kind gesture by the Nadi soccer coach Raj Dayal at Churchill Park this afternoon was clicked by the Fiji Times West Bureau photographer, Baljeet Singh.
Nadi had just lost their Extra Supermarket National Premier League match against Lautoka, 2-1 and a frustrated Mr Dayal started walking away towards the grand stand.
A ball-boy, who was on duty at the ground, approached Mr Dayal and asked him if he could have the water bottle he was carrying.
“It was a hot afternoon, and I am sure the boy was thirsty. In that moment I could see the Nadi coach break into a smile and offer water bottle to the child,” said Mr Singh.
“It was a precious picture, and I had to click it.”
