NADI Giants delivered a commanding performance to defeat Cakau Sharks in their Under-9 Tier One quarter-final clash of the Crest Fiji Primary Schools Netball underway at Subrail Park in Labasa.
The Giants set the tone early, controlling play in the first half to take a 3-1 lead as their shooters combined well and defence held firm.
Cakau Sharks showed glimpses of resistance but struggled to break through Nadi’s structured defence and consistent passing game.
In the second half, Nadi Giants lifted their intensity, extending their lead with a flurry of goals to put the result beyond doubt.
They eventually secured a convincing 7-2 victory, sealing their place in the semi-finals.
