Nadi club wins Business House event

NADI Sports Club has won the 34th Business House Bowls Competition sponsored by Consumers Supermarket at the Nadi Sports and Social Club on Thursday night.

Nadi Sports Club dominated the final, defeating Islands Electric Two with a resounding score of 32-3, while Wild Tigers secured third place. Portion Pak won the Plate after beating Electric One 16-7.

In other results, CAAF finished as the Bowl winner, overcoming Fiji Airways 20-11. Wormald Fire and Security clinched the Shield, defeating Guardforce West Admin Team 15-10.

West Media One achieved a strong finish, securing eighth place, while West Media Two finished in 12th position out of the 16 participating teams.

After five weeks of intense competition, the Business House Bowls tournament concluded with an electrifying final.

Tournament Organiser Shamal Kumar was impressed with five weeks tournament outcome.

“We’re beyond thrilled to announce that Nadi Sports Club has claimed its first ever trophy in the 34 tournaments held on the greens of Nadi Sports & Social Club.

“A huge shoutout to the runners-up, Island Electric Wholesalers Team 2, who were the defending champions for the past three consecutive tournaments. Your team played a fantastic game, and it was an honor to compete with you tonight.

“Here’s to many more victories ahead,” Kumar said.
