ABOUT 574 students graduated from the Fiji National University’s (FNU) College of Business, Hospitality and Tourism, College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences and College of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry yesterday at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.
FNU Vice Chancellor Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba said the number of students who graduated every year from the university indicated their teachers’ work — which she was proud of.
“Every time there’s a graduation, please put your hands together for the teachers as well, this tells me that they are doing a very good job,” Prof Nabobo-Baba said.
“At FNU, we teach you accountability, and we’ve also taught you that you have to serve with excellence.
“Your impact will build a better Pacific, and a better world.”
The graduation will continue today with 541 students who will graduate from the College of Engineering & Technical Vocational Education & Training (CETVET), National Training and Productivity Centre (NPTC), and Pacific Centre for Maritime Studies (PCMS).
