WE have a top class picnic park with all the amenities here in Suva for everyone to enjoy.
It is a pleasure to see people from all walks of life getting together, having meals, kids playing or some just lazily consuming kava in the friendly environment. I have also seen some pushing in their gas operated barbecue set which is not provided in the park. I humbly request the SCC to consider installing the user pay coin operated barbecue sets at different locations in the park. This will be a permanent fixture of the park and by inserting a coin of certain value the set will light up and enable the barbecue process to take place. The heat duration will last only up to the value of the coins inserted. I believe this additional feature as suggested will be very convenient and encourage more families to take part in the outdoor activities.
