A NEW mobile clinic dedicated to screening children for rheumatic heart disease (RHD) was launched by the Health Ministry earlier this week.
Speaking during the launch, Health Minister Jone Usamate said the disease had the potential to cause significant morbidity and disability. The new mobile clinic was bought after intensive fundraising efforts by hotels in the Accor Group, including Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa, Novotel Nadi and the Mercure Hotel.
