Minister for Climate Change has undergone a drug test at Parliament, reinforcing Government’s push to lead by example in the fight against drug abuse.

In a social media post, Lynda Tabuya confirmed completing the test and thanked medical personnel from the Fiji Police Force.

“I have just undertaken my drug test at Parliament today and I thank the Fiji Police Force nurse practitioner Sajneel Prasad and his team from the Police Medical Centre for attending to this important commitment from the Fiji Government to take the lead in setting the example,” the Minister said.

The move aligns with broader national efforts to promote accountability and integrity among public officials amid growing concerns over drug-related issues.

Using the hashtags #SayNoToDrugs and #KeepCleanAndGreen, the Minister emphasised the importance of maintaining a drug-free environment and encouraging responsible behaviour.
