A 48-YEAR-old Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) officer charged with three counts of rape has been granted bail by the High Court in Suva today.
The accused appeared before Justice Aruna Althuge.
The man is alleged to have raped his 17-year-old stepdaughter.
It is alleged for the first count of rape, the incident occurred between 2011 and 2014.
For the second count of rape, it is alleged the incident occurred between January and March, 2016, and for the third count, it is alleged the man raped the complainant between May 2017 and October 2018.
The case has been adjourned to July 5, 2019, for plea.
