Captain Timoci Natuva – RFMF

Captain Timoci Natuva has been appointed as Commander of Fiji Navy.

He takes over from Commodore Humphrey Tawake.

Captain (Navy) Natuva has been with Fiji Navy for about 20 years and has been Long Navigation Specialist.

A statement from the Fiji Military Forces stated Captain (Navy) Natuva has extensive experience in constabulary operations, maritime security, and humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HADR).

“His operational expertise is complemented by a strong record of international service, including assignments with the United Nations in Iraq and the Golan Heights, where he played critical roles as a Liaison Officer and Chief Liaison Officer,” said RFMF.

He has a Master’s degree in Military and Defence Studies and a Master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies.
