Management has big plans for wild adventure park

KULA Wild Adventure Park is scheduled to open Fiji’s first Splash Mountain Jingle Slide.

This was confirmed by park director Ramesh Chand.

The SMJS is a 110m hillside water slide that flies you down the slope and then across a river in midair to a safe landing on other side.

With more than 25 litres of water per second behind you, the experience is bound to leave visitors content.

Other than the slides the park Sigatoka has other attractions.

It is home to Fiji’s largest coral display with more than 12 000 litres of soft and hard corals and reef fish.

They also have a collection of Fiji’s seashells insects, moths, beetles and freshwater display.

“We want to make Kula Wild Adventure Park at the heart of the Coral Coast a family fun park unlike any other attraction in Fiji,” Mr Chand said.

He said the park also had a reef pool with hawksbill turtles, stingrays and colourful fish.

“Visitors can feed turtles by hand.

“The reef pool is over 18,000 litres and lets you get up close and personal with some of the species you might not see unless you scuba dive or snorkel.”
