A man was sentenced to 38 months imprisonment by the High Court in Suva for aggravated burglary and one count of theft.
Rajnesh Prasad appeared before Justice Thushara Kumarage on Thursday last week.
He pleaded guilty to the counts when he appeared earlier in court on October 27.
On February 27 this year, Prasad had stolen household items worth $3912 from a property at Muanikoso in Nasinu.
He has been given 30 days to appeal his sentence.
