A man, about 40 years of age is dead after a car accident along the Kings Highway.
It is believed the vehicle he was driving veered off the road and landed in a ditch.
Police said he is from Rakiraki and the accident happened last night along the Kings Road near Karavi in Ba.
“The victim died at the scene allegedly as a result of the accident. Investigations continue.”
The road death toll currently stands at 46 compared to 68 for the same period last year.
