Police have arrested a man who walked across from Lautoka into Ba and then travelled to Rakiraki.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro has told the Fiji Times the suspect trekked on foot through the forest and followed a logging track.
“He descended at Namosau, Ba,” she said.
From Ba, the 23 year old travelled by bus to Rakiraki.
‘The matter was reported by Turaga ni Koro of Vatukacevaceva village, RA.”
The suspect was arrested at the village and is under investigation for disobeying a lawful order.
