Malimali with FICAC for questioning

NEWLY appointed Commissioner of the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) Barbara Malimali is being questioned this morning.

A FICAC spokesperson confirmed this, saying she was in custody.

Ms Malimali was appointed to the position yesterday, barely a day after FICAC raided the office of the Electoral C omission, of which she is chairwoman.

FICAC said yesterday the raid was linked to an investigation against Ms Malimali.
