Chief registrar Tomasi Bainivalu said they have not received any notice of resignation from Ms Puamau.
“Right now what we should do is pray for her because she has a lot on her shoulders,” he said.
“We’ve been hearing a lot of rumours on that but it isn’t true.”
Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka said he has not been informed about anything.
“That issue is handled by theJudiciary Department,” he said.
Attorney General Siromi Turaga could not be reached for a comment.
