A LUXURY hotel investment project will soon be developed in Yasawa.
iTaukei Land Trust Board CEO Solomone Nata made the revelation at the Bose ni Yasana o Ba in Nacula Village yesterday.
Facilitated by the iTaukei Land Trust Board, the project is expected to be a significant investment in Fiji’s tourism sector.
Mr Nata said the Kerzner Group of Dubai and BSP Life partner would deliver a world-class One&Only Resort on the shores of Malakati Village in Nacula.
He said the project would create long-term benefits for the landowners and local community.
Mr Nata also revealed a tourism development project at Saweni in Lautoka.
He said discussions have been ongoing with the landowners on investing in this project.
Earlier this month, Government confirmed Kerzner International was bringing its One&Only brand to Fiji’s Yasawa Islands in 2029.
The ultra-luxury resort would be located on a 127-acre site on Nacula Island.
The One&Only resort will have 40 guestrooms, suites and villas as well as 20 private residences while amenities will include six dining venues and a Club One wellness centre.
