THE Lutubula Trophy adds further interest to this weekend’s Eastern Zone Secondary School’s Rugby Union Under-18 semi-finals as teams push towards the Vodafone Deans competition.

Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Union Association secretary Epeli Kalou says the trophy remains a symbol of dominance among schools such as Queen Victoria School (QVS), Ratu Kadavulevu School (RKS) and Lelean Memorial School.

QVS are the current holders, while RKS enter the semi-finals as the defending Vodafone Deans Champions.

The QVS-RKS clash this Saturday is expected to be a highlight, with a QVS loss resulting in a new Lutubula Trophy champion being crowned in next week’s final.
