THE Land Transport Authority has appointed Samuel Charles Simpson as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The authority for 12 months had been without a CEO.
In welcoming Mr Simpson, the authority’s chairman Vijay Maharaj said it was an exciting time as LTA starts the new year with higher expectations.
Mr Simpson said he was happy to join LTA.
He has over 32 years of transport industry experience, including nearly 25 years experience in general manager and director level.
Prior to LTA Mr Simpson managed large bus operations in London, Manchester, Brimingham, and West Yorkshire.
