PATIENTS at the St Giles Hospital had a chance to enjoy lively music and entertainment by the Makosoi Ni Delai Devo band on Wednesday.
Bringing joy and happiness to the patients was the main objective behind the band’s visit.
Patients who were normally confined in their rooms took the opportunity to dance and sing while the band entertained them with local music.
Band manager Alfred Taylor said the visit was part of their outreach to the community especially to people who were confined every day.
Mr Taylor said they wanted to share their love for music with the patients and make their visit a memorable one.
“We wanted the patients to feel relax and carefree rather than being confined, depressed or stressed,” he said.
