Fiji’s life and health insurance provider BSP Life has reported making a $94million payout in customer benefits in 2023.
Majority of the payout – $66m (70 per cent of total payouts) was for living benefits, empowering customers to pursue life goals including education expenses, home renovations, family vacations and retirement planning – that accounted for 70 per cent of the total payout.
According to the institution, $11million was payout for death and disability benefits, and $17m for medical insurance payouts.
