The cases of Isaia Ledua and Saimoni Rokotunidau have been adjourned to September 10.
In the first case, Justice Tuiqereqere cancelled a bench warrant against Mr Ledua after he presented himself in court this afternoon.
Explaining his non-appearance at 9.30am today, Mr Ledua told the court he had contacted his lawyer, Jerry Dinati, in the morning, who had informed him that they would attend court together.
Justice Tuiqereqere reminded Mr Ledua of the consequences of failing to comply with the court’s orders.
Mr Ledua faces one count each of aggravated burglary and damaging property.
He is alleged to have committed the offences with others between April 7 and 9 this year and allegedly damaged an armoury keypad locker valued at $730.
In a separate matter before the same judge, the court heard that Mr Rokotunidau has been an inpatient at hospital since his last appearance in court while in custody.
Mr Dinati, who also represents Mr Rokotunidau, has been directed to advise his client on his plea.
Mr Rokotunidau faces one count each of attempted murder, unlawful possession of illicit drugs, going equipped for theft, serious assault, and refusing to have his fingerprints and photographs taken.
The matter was adjourned to September 10.
