THE Flick Hygiene Lautoka side made a good comeback at the Rooster Chicken/Scoops Ice Cream Battle of the Giants Tournament yesterday defeating crowd favorites Extra Supermarket Lautoka FC 2-1 in a Group B fixture at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva last night.
Sairusi Nalaubu was the toast of the Blues scoring two goals in the win. Christopher Wasasala scored the lone goal for Labasa from the penalty spot.
In other matches played yesterday, Nadi held Navua to a nil-all draw, Rewa thumped Nadroga 8-1 while in the last match of the day, Suva and Ba were locked at nil-all at half-time when this edition went to press.
Meanwhile, more than 4,000 people witnessed day two of competition as a bigger crowd is expected on the final day today.
