Lami Darts Association gets boost for competition

Lami Darts Association has received a significant boost with the sponsorship from Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI) for the upcoming LICI Sponsored Lami Darts Association open doubles tournament.

This exciting event is set to take place tomorrow at the Fiji Club in Suva and will feature a total of 32 teams with 64 players from Fiji and the South Pacific.

Akash Kumar, the sales manager at LICI, expressed his support for the Fiji Darts Association, emphasising that the country is ranked 4th in the South Pacific.

He highlighted the importance of such competitions in promoting the growth of the sport within the region.

“Watching this athlete play with passion and determination is truly inspiring,” said Kumar.

“We believe in empowering the next generation through sports to keep them away from Drugs, the secret is to believe in your dreams and have faith.”

Maciu Seru, the vice president of Lami Darts Association, expressed his gratitude to LICI for their sponsorship.

He shared the association’s goal of revitalising the sport of darts in Lami and emphasised that darts know no boundaries in Fiji.

Players of all shapes, sizes, and ages are welcome to participate in the tournament and join the darts community.

Seru extended an invitation to all individuals who are interested in experiencing the thrill of darts or exploring a new sport.

He expressed optimism about the partnership with LICI and looked forward to future collaborations.
