Kuridrani laid to rest

HUNDREDS paid tribute to Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Waterways and Sugar Industry Inosi Turaga Kuridrani who was laid to rest at Namatakula, Nadroga over the weekend.

Joined Cabinet Ministers led by Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, mourners acknowledged the contributions made by Mr Kuridrani who many have called a humble man.

Paying tribute to the late Assistant Minister, Mr Rabuka said he was known for his humility and caring nature.

“He was a humble man. In every organisation where he worked, he was described as a humble and caring person,” he said during the funeral service.

Mr Kuridrani was serving as Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Waterways and Sugar Industry, when he passed away on September 27.

He was 66.
