Fiji golden boy and ATK Football Club captain Roy Krishna has dedicated his Indian Super League title win to all Fijian fans who have supported him all around the world.
“I just want to pass my hearty vinaka vakalevu (thank you very much) to everyone who has been on this journey with me,” Krishna told The Fiji Times.
“Since I came to India in August last year, I’ve received so much love from everyone back home and I feel so blessed to have them cheering me on from afar.”
In only his first season, Fiji’s very own Roy Krishna achieved another milestone when he captained the ATK Football Club to its third Indian Super League final beating Chennaiyin Football Club 3-1 at the Jawaharial Nehru Stadium in Goa, India, yesterday.
Krishna returns to the country this week to spend some deserved quality time with his family after a hectic season.
“I’m returning to Fiji very shortly for a break and I’m looking forward to home cooked food especially.”
