HIGH-PROFILE accused Imran Khan, also known as “King Khan”, has been further remanded in custody as he awaits judgment in his alleged methamphetamine possession case.
Khan was scheduled to receive judgment last Friday; however, presiding Magistrate Yogesh Prasad adjourned the matter to today.
The 41-year-old self-employed man is charged with one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs. It is alleged that he possessed 4.1364 grams of methamphetamine in Suva on February 7, 2023.
The State closed its case after calling eight witnesses during the trial, which was heard earlier this year.
Judgment will be delivered today at 2.30pm.
