Imran Khan, also known as “King Khan” has pleaded guilty at the High Court this morning.
Mr Khan is charged with one count of Contravention of Restraining Orders – Contrary to Section 42(1)(a) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 1997.
He is alleged to have breached a restraining order by allegedly disposing of a luxury vehicle – bearing the registration plate “KNGKHN” – that was part of a broader asset freeze.
The matter is stood down till 11.30am for summary of facts to be read before Justice Thushara Rajasinghe.
