Killers of the Flower Moon, one of the most popular movies out now, has a Fijian connection.

The soundtrack to the Martin Scorsese directed murder-mystery flick features Abraham Rounds on drums, alongside legendary guitarist Robbie Robertson of The Band fame and Pino Paladino – a bassist who has played for Elton John, Eric Clapton and John Mayer.

Abraham is the son of legendary Fijian bass player Victor Rounds who has also played with big names like Renee Geyer, Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John and even the legendary Glenn Frey, founding member of iconic American rock music group, The Eagles.

“If you’re going to see this movie then check out the credits to the soundtrack. There are two Abrahams on drums. The rest of the music crew’s not bad either. Music by Robbie Robertson (R.I.P.),” Victor, a former resident of Flagstaff, Suva, posted on his Facebook page this week.

Sadly, Robbie Robertson passed away in August this year after completion of the soundtrack.
